And also not a XIV only issue. People got really angry in XI whenever you pointed out TPing in hecatomb gear was a horrifically bad idea.

God Eater is fun so far. Reminds me a lot of Freedom Wars, which I think came out after... so maybe that reminds me of this?
Comparing it to Monster Hunter... I dunno if I would. It would be like comparing Minecraft to Harvest Moon. In some ways similar games, you gather stuff, you can farm, you upgrade your tools, you can raise animals. But the way it is applied is completely different. One thing the SBF pointed out though, in Freedom Wars and in God Eater, the enemies are monsters that are hellbent on destroying humanity. In Monster Hunter they are primarily docile creatures just trying to exist in nature and the humans are the ones pushing into their habitats and murdering them. IT would never work today.

The paladins in my LS got really angry when I suggested haste gear and different sets to gain enmity more easily depending on what they were doing I was tired of them not tanking and me dying because the healers didn't like it being pointed out either Then my friend started tanking with all those different sets and they were basically useless and started listening somewhat This wasn't even something rare in 11 and trying to say it was is just silly Nothing worse than a SMN using Blizz 2. If you just focus a single target with Ruin, that target dies faster and you move to the next one, then you can kill all the targets faster instead of wasting your MP with Blizz 2. *** NOOBS.

its bad because when you look at the in-game character icons and you see this:
 and the original looks like:  (Notice the pixal art vs the just flat out picture) it becomes questionable....
