Was doing bounties in Diablo 3, working on seasonal challenges. There is one challenge that has you do all the bounties in every act in a single game. I have 4 of the acts done and am a bit tired of it, so I go afk to take a small break. I'm gone about 40min or so, and when I come back, I come back to a server disconnect. Boom! All of that progress towards that challenge lost, all because Blizzard has a 30minute afk timeout penalty in place. I was even in a single player instance (as single player as you can get in d3 since they require always online). (Didn't know about the penalty until after it happened and I did some googling.)
