Like, I patiently explained that while I understand phasing out the 3.5mm headphone jack isn't a terrible idea, they're not the first company to do it, but they seem to think that since they're doing it, everyone should now because clearly it's useless old technology. And that's really arrogant, and part of the reason I hate Apple so much. Also, while not a vital feature, the 3.5mm jack is really very useful for applications for people who don't just use their phone in the traditional fashion. (For instance, I connect my phone to my electronic drum kit for audio play-through with a 3.5mm auxiliary jack.) They didn't like that. They were very upset that I couldn't understand how easy it is to use the dongle, or why I don't like the idea of the Lightning/USB port being the headphone port...
