lol no.
not all zoo, low cost or high end, use electric fences.
it is too energy and cost inefficient. and usually these are locked on the outside.
they would also be a hazard to the animals, workers and to the visitors of said park.
Trying out the new nVidia drivers to test drive their new VSync method (Fast Sync). So far it's actually really good in the games that I play. Had to enable it via nvi though since theyre only "officially" supporting Pascal atm.
What it seems to do is implement a normal Adaptive VSync while forcing a new type of triple buffering, even on games that can not normally support it (i.e. most any DirectX game). It's controlling the buffers in such a way that input lag is so small that I can't even notice it, and yet the game is running beautifully smooth with no tearing.
Will benefit higher frame rate games more, but even low frame rate ones should see a notable difference.
Also, Ansel confirmed for Kepler+Maxwell architectures. 4.5gigapixel screenshots son! (For comparison, 1920x1080 = about 2 megapixels)
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
