Never mind. I took 15 seconds out of my busy day to Google it and see they recycled it into a shinier "new" version.
Dunno how DLC would work exactly given that it was a pretty complete game in its own right 20+ years ago when it released, but... I still like playing my original copy, it has the screen warp glitch. Fun times, fun times. Especially when you have to redo like 3 dungeons because you haven't saved and warped on the wrong screen and got stuck.

Apparently I get it free because I bought a bundle pack that it was added to.

I'm sadly out of touch with Nintendo at this point. I own a Wii, but lost track more or less immediately following release. I had them blocked because I was trying to keep my firmware on their current versions, but whatever, I just won't turn my 3DS on while I fiddle with the Wii U.

I enjoyed mine well enough, I guess, I just felt that in the end Nintendo didn't have a solid enough idea of what they were trying to do with the damn thing and it never lived up to its potential. Seriously, softmod the sucker. Between hdd loading games and emulation it's great.

it might be thursday, but it's friday for me. no work for the next two days, work on sunday, and then off for the fourth. 4 hours of teaching dumb people how to talk to dumb people, then paperwork, and hopefully no overtime afterwords. cheers to all!
