World Tournament announcement. Says "Coming soon"; probably starts tomorrow.

Bonus summon banner is up; guaranteed to get an Elder Kai with every multi. Not worth wasting stones on with Gogeta and Janemba right around the corner.

New event started; "Genius Bulma's Battle Prep". Drops lots of rare support items. Easy way to get the "obtain 10 support items in a single run" mission out of the way for an easy dragon stone. Gonna be grinding this for Fruit of the Tree of Might (drops from silver capsules).

Also, good news everyone!

My net is getting upgraded from 1.5mbit to 10mbit at no cost! (It's actually $2 cheaper.)

Turns out we are on an old plan and the new version of our same plan is the 10mbit one. Took a tech coming out and trying to fix my latency issues to find out. (120+ ping to even Google's DNS server)

The people on the phone would swear up and down that we have the fastest available for our area. When in fact we can get up to 20mbit.

Tech gave me his personal number and he got in contact with his supervisor who called me as well and gave me his number. Which while I talked to him I told him about my history with the people on the ISP's CS line. As well as names of said reps who fed me said ***/flat out lies. Seems some reps are getting in trouble now. Suck it you lieing sacks of ***!

How do you even live on that connection????

I've seen some ***I tell ya. Nothing like watching a webm load a couple frames at a time.


To add on. It's the only option for where I live. Unless you want dial-up or satellite.

I'm not sure of the cost increase for 20mbit, but I'm happy with 10mbit at the moment. (Should kick in by 8pm tomorrow)

Until recently my ping to most things was around the 50-70 range. Like doing a speedtest my ping would read around 46'ish. Now it's 120+.

They've been having some massive issues lately. Some places are completely out of internet because some fiber lines got cut by construction crews in some areas in Louisiana. (I'm in AR) And in other places they've had full on mainframe issues.

Still haven't fixed the latency issue but they are trying. The tech tested my connection from my house to the switch and it's excellent. Like sub 30. So it's in CenturyLink's servers once it goes beyond here.

If it doesn't get sorted out within the week. They are going to rewire the port I'm connected to at the switch and put in a new one.

Oh god CenturyLink.

How much are they making you pay?

For the internet itself we are paying about $75 a month. Our total bill is around $110. (Parents insist on a house phone and it has unlimited long distance to anywhere in US/Canada)

I know! They even have updated cell phones that are newer than mine.

I unfortunately had to conform on that front, I was left with no choice. It's still more accurate, I miss it, I don't miss never having a working phone case though.
