Season finale of the 100 next week...an entire show based on cliffhangers lol.
I find that most shows are like that.
Also, a lot of shows these days rarely see more than one season before getting the chopping block (Supergirl and The Muppet Show to name a couple current choices), so they typically put all their ideas for the show in the first season, then if by some miracle they do get more episodes ordered, they have to make a mad dash to come up with new concepts before people get bored.
Have you ever seen Sons of Anarchy? It was like Hamlet on bikes. Well, until season 3, anyway. Then it becomes child rescue in Ireland. Like... where the hell did they pull that plot line out of? The garbage? Aaron Sorkin's ***?
These days, I only watch either cooking shows or 30 minute comedies (not in the two camera sitcom format by the way, that got old after 1997; *** The Big Gangbang Theory). I've seen episodes of GoT, but I'm just like... blugh.
