The government is not one single entity. The "hey, uninstall this" is because Apple themselves are stopping security updates for it, and is a pretty sane response. QT on Windows has been junk for years anyway, so I'm kind of surprised it took this long for them to finally give up on it.

I mean to be fair, people should have stopped using Quicktime years ago.
Apple did stop supporting the software. I mean nothing was false, I do find it interesting that they bothered to make a statement on it.

Cough cough 1,000 car dealers using windows XP cough cough. Government has some fairly heavy restrictions on work PCs, but there are still a lot of issues with people using their personal computers and losing or leaking data. Not sure if this QT statement is driven by this issue in any part, but it makes sense to me as a long-time DoD employee.

School principle just gave me a ToS/EULA type of thing they want to use for the schools wifi next fall... wants me to make sure it is all... allowed.
One part I am really not sure about basically says "You agree to allow us to search any device that connects to the wifi at any time, this means if the device is locked with a passcode you will be required to enter the code and allow us access to the device." Hmmmm I don't know... if the FBI can't get into a locked cell phone... why do we think we can? Although if it is in the EULA thingy and they sign to it and agree to it, does that mean HAHA Got EEM?!?

It's great So Granblue Fantasy is actually pretty cool. Its a pain to get it switched over into English though. I also had to download Qooapp to get it since its not available outside of Japan. (without downloading an apk)
There is also a street fighter event going on. :I My whole ail are now watching star wars as I read it's book adaptation the count of monte cristo
 If I could hand out awards... Never has to change jobs and even has 18% movement pants

if i could just craft and quest in ffxi i would probably be happy, but i'm so far behind on everything it seems too daunting to pick back up. iunno why i'm so nostalgic for xi lately.
File cabinet locked. No one has a key. I ask everyone, do you know who has a key as a backup...
Person A - Hit it with a screwdriver and hammer. Me - Gives that a go... *** up the lock in the process. Person B - Why... I know who has a key... First time ever turning on my central air (all of the houses before this one didn't have it)
