Seems like it took forever. I remember coming home from Walmart, playing Pokemon Blue on my Gameboy Pocket. I still remember where we were when I thought "This is going to become a really bad addiction."
We had just turned North off of 71st onto a street called Elwood. That's where this BS began for me. My main Pokemon love is gen1, I tolerate part of gen2, but past that and I just don't care anymore.
Gen1 is my <3. (Even then like half of those pokemon I don't enjoy). Red was my ***, then yellow. edit: inb4 joke about red ***. I liked Gen2 the best, after Gen2 it seems like they started beating a dead horse. I do like a few Pokémon from Gen3 though, like the Gardevoir line and Milotic.

I think Emerald has been my fav so far.
Y was good imo. My party usually consists of Gen1 and 2 Pokémon. Ninetales is still my fave Pokémon.

1.) Diglett 2.) Sunkern 3.) Gardevoir 4.) Piplup 5.) Didn't play 6.) No. Ninetales has been my fave consistently over all generations.

Pokemon is weird for me. It's one of the few games that I'll just play to enjoy it and not try to be the most absolutely insane stats ever.
I don't give a *** about shiny. Probably part of what ruined beyond Gen1 for me, ***got too complicated. I don't play competitively, or even try to get awesome stats.
Every pokémon playthrough for me goes like this: 1) Decide which 6 pokémon I want on my team and go with it 2) Pick the very first one that pops up; even if it happens to have the 'bad ability'. I don't bother with natures either. 3) Go through the game, beat the Elite four 4) Do the post-game stuff 5) If it's a new Gen, fill out the pokédex as much as possible :) Jetackuu said: » Pokemon is weird for me.
