Its been so long, I really liked the crossbow dude. I remember the shield/mace guy with Riposte was so overpowered too. Prolly crossbow guy.
Really? I think I used 2 hander sword duder, shield guy, crossbow guy, and cleric. Was pretty nice, with his camp buffs the crit rate on crossbow was really high.

I flopping around between like 50 games right now. Hopefully will get back into it. So far my favorite class is the Doggy guy. The nice thing about crits is they raise sanity. I usually fought in the dark for loot and higher crit would replinish aanity.
I think the dog guy was added after I played actually. Maybe they've changed the mechanics a lot. It has been a very long time. I got the strategy somewhat from a streamer I used to watch, I think he made a youtube video about it:
