I've seen a lot of people talking about what they'd do if they won the lottery, and since no one asked me I'll say mine too.

Well first I'd tell my dad and have him help me administer all of that with an accountant and all that jazz *jazz hands*
But anyway, I'd give a small sum to my mom(my dad not only doesn't need it but I also know would never take it), and I guess something to my brother too. Then I'd buy myself a house somewhere I like(probably in Tuscany)and continue my studies at my leisure not needing to worry about the future too much. I'd probably go get a master's degree and phd at J-Hopkins cause you know, I'm rich so I can get it wherever I like.
Then I'd still try to get my dreamjob, but if I won't be able I'd still go get one, as teacher maybe cause I'd rather still work.
I'd rather work I say...but at my house I'd want servants. I know Spath offered as butler but depending on how many tasks he can do I might hire more.

Oh and yeah..I'd self-publish my novels!

That sounds nice. It's refreshing to see you remain ambitious about education despite having already obtained the typical MO in regards to that. Also, what is your dream job specifically?

I wonder what kind of salary and benefits Seha offers to her employees. Do we get insurance, sick leave, paid vacation?

It's possible that considering I wouldn't need money the rest of my life I'd even pursue a second degree and just keep studying. I mean, it's still a nice goal.

As for the job I'm not saying in public!

Novels..you see, it's actually always been my dream to be a novelist ever since I learned how to write. Still don't need the richness to attain that and I have all my (probably short)life to pursue it. But who knows, I have the awful tendency to always boycott myself.

I always find it funny how little I think about that stuff in this kind of situation... I guess I really care more for the job/living stability more so than the others... I'd rather know I'm stable and can keep busy.

That's all probably bad in some way I'm sure.

Well I'm not a slavist. And can even have a friendly relationship, however my expectations are very strict. I'd take an employee who gropes me over one who doesn't do what he was told to do.

I'm so glad I'm not alone on this. I'm gonna have to go digging through my old reddit account to find the post I made articulating why being a student would be the best job ever, assuming of course there was no monetary obligations.

But TL;DR: Learning new things, expanding knowledge in all the world's facets of information helps bring about a sense of enlightenment that nothing can compare to.

To be frank, I'd happily take a wage garnishment if it meant working for Seha. I'd have an intelligent and pretty boss, and get to live in Tuscany too.
Pretty much a win, win.
Plus I'm pretty good at monotonous tasks nobody wants to do themselves: cleaning, dishes, laundry, grocery shopping, gardening, etc.

I'm almost at a point in my life where I'd take monetary difficulty if it means fulfilling eternal accomplishment by taking in some new scenery and experiences. Creature comforts are nice, but there's simply so much to do and take in out there in the world, ya know?

Oh and if I'm really rich enough that I can really dump money anywhere, I'd build my own ideal international university(probably on an island with its own airport), and offer a relatively cheap, high standard education to students worldwide. I'd lose on the initial investment(cause I'm going big!), but my payout would be to have the best place in the world for learning.

This... Would actually be a good inspiration for me to teach again...

That sounds really cool despite being a money sinkhole. Though, perhaps a hybrid institution between a school and a library to compliment open knowledge and academic ambitions would be a more sustainable choice. Universities these days feel more and more like a company or business than they do as a source of study and knowledge.

Maybe something like a more organized, classy version of the movie Accepted?



Movie was dumb and corny as hell, but really had a great underlying tone/message within it.
