Any of you guys with XBX know a good Miranium mining set up?
I don't need money anymore (over 3 bil right now as it is) but I can use more Miranium.
1) Gather Mining probes from field containers (generally mechanical level 3 or higher yield good mining probes) You want Mining probes G7 or better (at least 3 of each)
2) Open your mining probe map on the gamepad. Put them in spots where it says 'Production' B, A or even S. Make sure that three sites are connected which all have good production values.
*There's a good chain in Sylvalum, a great chain in Cauldros and decent chains in both Oblivia and Noctilum*
3) Once you have a set of 3 connected mining probes of the same number, you can just keep adding the same one(s) as you find them; extending the chain.
Extra tips:
If you have a duplicator probe, you can use it to extend the chain on crappy spots. Even if a site has production C or lower, the duplicator probe will act as if it was one adjacent to it. So a mining probe placed on a B duplicated on a site with a C will ACT as a B. (if you still follow)
A booster probe will boost the effectiveness of the chain it is linked with. It doesn't matter on which spot you plant it as long as it connects to a chain. It can even connect to multiple different chains if it is placed on a 'crossroad' ;)
I think that should do it. Good luck :)
Also... (post-game related)
Once you clear the story missions you unlock Support missions. You can access those from the Barracks terminal. There are 3 kinds of missions: BP, Miranium / Credits and Affinity. The level 60 Miranium one is fairly easy and gives you 30,000 units upon completion.
