Especially those Mac using English teachers. May as well burn them at the stake.

Only thing worse would be P.E. "teachers."

They have a reserved circle of hell, but nowhere near as torturous a circle as those people who spam minion crap on facebook

My PE teacher in grade school loved electronic music techno and dance music to death. it was horrible. We'd run a mile of laps in a small room while he blares "do you believe in love after love" and "Eachy breaky heart"

thank god crazy frog didn't come out until I was in high school.

I would of been ok with this if it was 80's tunes...
I am not ok with this.

Can't stand this *** teacher.

Why do I have to call out to defend something basic like hotswapping a drive because "idk whyd you wanna do that I don't see the practicality"
Come on its not hard to imagine why...

Hotswapping is seriously nice in some cases like a file server or storage box, near useless on a client. What kind of class is it?

If it's something desktop related, I can see why the teacher would say that. It's outside the scope of the class, but also there just isn't much value in hotswap drives on a client PC.

My brother comes in, starts talking about deer season, and listing off all of this pointless ***we should do. This year I'm trying to retire my grandpa's old rifle and I'm looking for a good Lee-Enfield No4 Mk2 to use instead. So I mention that I'd like to find one before this deer season to which he condescendingly responds "yeah, well, I'm talking about going hunting."

What the *** does he think I'm talking about?! I don't intend to buy a *** rifle for gardening.

He expects to moose hunt before deer hunting season starts or something?
The Lee-Enfield rifles are pretty common in Canada and have probably taken quite a few moose.

All depends on the purpose of the PC, but I know what you mean.

As far as I'm concerned most end user PCs (in a business environment anyway) should be effective thin clients with network booting. With citrix based apps and the like, there's little reason for most users to have local storage.

But it all depends on how the system is set up entirely, if poorly done it would make for one awful experience.

VDI is just really poorly implemented most of the time. I understand it's popularity, but so many businesses just try to save money across the board and end up with some really unusable setups.

Either way, I'd be curious to find out what the context of the statement was.
