I never understand why you call it jp only. It was never very hard and if I remember correctly only ever rewarded cards.

Monday night, pop it in and give it a whirl and stream it, we'll see how easy it is.
Can't stream PS3 or psp(actually... I need to look into this) currently so that's a no go. Good try. Granted whether it's hard or not does not change the fact it rewards nothing particularly useful after 300.
1000 or bust.
Why? For a completely pointless Key item?

I don't understand how completionists rationalize these sorts of things.

Probably some amount of OCD. And the point of being a completionist is to complete everything.

I lack the the mindset to do 100% runs of anything, personally. But I can respect and admire the people who do.

I like doing all quests, killing all mobs (at least once) and all optional bosses when I play a game (and getting all the best weapons) but I don't need to get every single item or complete every mini-game 100% (such as the very highest score).

I can understand 100%ing to a point. Stuff like achievements and trophies made it much more appealing to me for awhile. But I've never truly been able to understand picking up random things that add nothing to a game, whether in the form of an achievement, a useful item, or a cut scene. That said, if you're doing it without some kind of incentive like that I don't feel anyone has the right to complain about it. It was put in there as a secondary thing, that adds nothing to the game and is completely optional, and possible.

A cut scene I would try and get since I like getting the most out of my first playthrough, that way I won't need to play it for a while.

I have a right to complain about something if I want, especially when it's one of the games I've actually purchased.

I still can't decide what's more annoying though: pointlessly getting the Excalibur II or that stupid minigame that's not humanly possible (unless you're JP of course).

Go home Spath, you're drunk.

When you put it like this your saying "Remove JP onry minigame" is like me hearing a person who wishes to become a finalist in say a triathlon say they remove one of the events because they are not as good as it as others and therefore will never meet their self-set goal. It removes the point in putting in optional events in games. If you can't complete them, then either try harder(or a different approach) or just leave it alone.

If I was drunk there would probably be less arguing and more nudes.

Is there some assumption about JP players having a lot of gaming time or something?

Six days of school, longer school days in general and salary (boss' ***) pay being really popular over there says otherwise.

Or just not put in a minigame to troll completionists, or a side quest to do the same, there's always that.

I love 9 aside from those two sections though, it's a shame really.
