Yeah. NIN doesn't need to maintain grease lightning, deal with positionals (except for a single infrequent back positional), and can preload ninjutsu in between phases, when moving for mechanics or to go back to a mob, etc. Lots of advantages over MNK before considering the avg potency of their attacks and the fact that they never run out of TP (which won't be affected by 2 abilities getting a 10TP raise). This is also before considering NIN's raid-wide utility compared to any other DPS besides SMN and BRD.

second best (not by as big a difference as melee dps vs melee dps) ranged dps. ranged dps generally match or fall a bit behind melees in actual encounters
