 I'm gonna get attacked for this opinion... I know it. But I've been trying to play through DA:O and... I love the story however I don't know why but the combat system is really getting to me and making it hard for me to play. X.x I don't know if I'm just not in the mood for the style or if I really just can't handle the slow pacing of it but it's been making me sad.
You'll probably enjoy DA:2 and 3 more then

Lol I literally got so tired of it last night that I just dropped the difficulty all the way down to casual so I can steamroll enemies and get on with quests.
And I remember now this is the exact reason I didn't finish it when it first came out. Also enemy sound effects seem... Very out of sync with the game. Like they just overplayed them very poorly on top of everything else. Sure it's great I know what they sound like but it sounds incredibly artificial and baaaaad. What I miss the most and find very odd is not having a healer in 3. They could have made the game even more difficult if you had access to one

I couldn't play the game on PS3 because it was soooooo laggy back when it first came out and I felt it was a huge waste of money but then I played it on PC and enjoyed it greatly (the story part more so than the combat). PS3 is incredibly sluggish. Especially when it tries to auto save in the middle of a dungeon area but even just loading areas, sometimes in the middle of them, it's incredibly clunky.
However I like the story, and I enjoy the quips from the party (especially Morrigan) so I'm trying to muscle through it all. Having Wynne and Alistair in the party is pretty funny
Also does enemy audio change at all on PC? It seems... Really sloppily done. Like it's cool to hear what they sound like but it's so out of sync and awkward that I almost rather not have it.
Not sure what you mean, I don't think I noticed anything odd about it when I played. This was a long time ago though.
