I still have reservations with the whole Fabula Nova Crystallis thing, but I suppose if they put the right spin on the mythos it can be enjoyable. After all, the only things that truly bothered me with XIII was the characters and linearity, and by proxy, it's pacing.
I felt it could have been a good story if it was properly told or put through the eyes of a well written character, which sadly was not the case. But obviously XV will be clean slate while staying within the same universe.
Corsair K70 Cherry MX Reds with Blue LED, which is great because my friend is going with a blue theme for his PC. Has blue ram and even a blue PCB motherboard. Ironically he's going to be on team red with his FX-8350 lol.

It's basically like reusing Gaia or Summons or the things in XII.

Which I'm sure is fine. I just couldn't get into XIII enough to appreciate much of anything within the mythos. SE is notorious for recycling terms and figures with various twists or mildly altered definitions to fit the game it's in.
I couldn't stand the characters in XIII except for Sazh and Fang lol
I got to chapter 6 before I realized I was wasting my time. Which is a shame cause I hear it really opens up once you're off Cocoon and into Grand Pulse. But if I am literally halfway through a game and find no redeeming qualities yet, it's probably for the best I stop playing.
two thousand dollars for several trips to buy even bootlegged anime seems kind of weak.
I'm pretty sure my brother's collection of anime has reached somewhere around 200-250 titles, which at this point, really would be somewhere close to requiring a small truck to move them all.
He generally pays for my entry into the second largest Animecon in North America, which is in Canada btw, and pretty much contracts me out as slave labor to carry the 2-3 large boxes of anime he buys every year. Which generally weighs around 100lbs a box.
One year, the chain store owner he buys from, allowed me to slap him in the face with 2500 dollars in cash.

I went exploring on Gran Pulse but it wasn't exactly a big deal :| Think of it as the Ozmone Plains area but without zones
As awesome as a macro bound keyboard sounds, I much rather make the leap to mechanical for him. However, my #1 concern is finding the right switch so it isn't painfully loud and clicky. I think MX black switches is what I'm looking for? I haven't tested them in ages.
It came out to something like 8-15 bucks a series, depending on the series. They all came in those annoying *** boxes that flip out and have like 2 discs per "page". Keep it all in binders now though, binders that collect dust because I don't even really like anime anymore lol.

Very comprehensive stuff there, thank you. Bookmarked it for now and will read more closely later, especially for my friend's sake since he's the one making the step up.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
