This isn't entirely true.

Although a person could technically live off of the interest of a million dollars if they have no need to touch the principle amount, and depending on the interest rate, and the amount insured by the bank (assuming they aren't too big to fail again).

Then again, people have been known to piss away billions of dollars and end up broke, or think they can protect their money better than banks via the old fashioned safe n shotgun method.

now back to your regularly scheduled fantasy about being a wallet-bloated billionaire with 72 *** who know how to please you.
