When I was doing desktop work the "customers" were other departments and other people in my department of the organization and quite frankly the hardest ones to work with were the people internally as they kept trying to skip the procedures.
I mean it was a fringe benefit of them being down the hall, and walking by the room every day, and I also got pretty much unrestricted help when I needed it on something so...
But even the people in the other departs (save like 3 people) were great to work with, and short of those people didn't have an issue.
Now one of those 3 turns out to be a dad of a friend of a friend, and my friend said his dad's a ***, so I'll write that off as not me. One of the other two: he was being a general ***, and I was just walking with the person who went to help the issue, so I'll write that off as well.
The other one, I can't even really bring a face to it, so I question if it was real, or if I'm just losing my mind, wooohoooheee!
But yeah, people are rather nice to you when you bring them new ***, or come to fix their stuff, the last 6+ months or so it was generally the former so they were pleased.
Hell the one building I did a lot of while I was going through a rough patch in my personal life, and was barely mentally stable and yet I still managed to make 30+ women rather content, which is a "miracle" in it's own most would say.
