Eh perhaps, i'll have to look it up later... meaning i'll procrastinate until I really need them, search desperately and not find them ... then end up buying them at the overinflated price anyway :x (or I could look them up tomorrow)
No way I'd ever pay that much for books for one class.
no ***lol, I was thinking it was gonna be maybe 100 or less... but ... seems this course needs like 2 different books, 5 different other things and ... ugh ...
IT'S ALL MAGS FAULT, HIM AND HIS TEACHER SECRET SOCIETY ARE RAISING PRICES
That isn't the society's fault; it's your college being greedy as ***.
I mean, there is no society. You're just being paranoid.
When it comes to using planks, you never use it more than once. Not only is it unsanitary, for the obvious reasons, it gets gross having that fishy wood smell lingering around, due to bacteria and viruses.
I was Googling it, and it looks like there is a way to reuse the planks. It just requires a planer. Basically, shave off the used parts and you can keep using the plank.
Technically, you *could* throw that plank into a wood chipper, and then use that wood to smoke another batch of fish and all would be good. But I would still advise against it.

Never a good idea. Cedar can be incredibly porous, and absorb quite a lot, considering you have to soak the wood in water prior to using it, so it doesn't burn to ash. There would be enough liquid residue still inside that become highly unsanitary.
I spent a ton of time in kitchens and practicing safe cooking to allow anyone to do this.
*** me... they finally put the prices for one of my courses online (this is just for ONE...) it's damn near close to $400 @.@ for *** BOOKS D:

I'm out for you mag! I KNOW THIS IS YOUR DOING
I hear this from everyone I know attending college every semester. It's almost like they really expect things to be different from the last 2+ years they've attended college. Always gives me a giggle.
Should have gotten a scholarship to pay for your books. That price is close to some of the prices of books for a few of my Information Systems classes I took a few years ago.
$100-150 is pretty typical for a single book if it's a technical/science related one. Some cost around $200.
Also, try using pinewood planks to cook trout on. With a lemon-pepper glaze.
Do I have a new FFXIAH cooking buddy? I miss the days when Slip and I would chat up cooking techniques. Also, *** yes to this. Pine might be harder to find out here, though.
I've kept most of the books I bought through ASU. Most of them are methods books and literature anthologies, both of which I feel would be incredibly useful in the years to come.

You might. Cooking used to be a passion of mine, until the local industry kicked me so hard in the junk, I had to spit it out, and watch them stomp all over it.
My Grandmother, before she died, (ironically of food poisoning, due to the inept elderly care facility she was in) had a massive collection of antiquated cook books, that some celebrity chefs have been ripping off. I swear I've seen some of those exact same recipes in the old books I have.
Anyways... When I was in high school, my culinary teacher taught me how to make mayonnaise, and the 5 mother sauces: Bechamel, Hollandaise, Veloute, Espagnole, and Tomato.

Okay, I recognize hollandaise, annnnnd... that's it. I'm not exactly formally trained, nor am I a culinary expert, but I think I'm an adequate cook. My big thing is pizza; the things I do with a pizza can either be amazing or disgusting, depending on your tastes.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
