I don't really hear accents unless they're very different.. Minus Cali (because they have an accent all their own) I don't hear an accent when anyone from the south talks, but go north, and I hear it.

My parents only talk in spanish around family or when they're mad at me. lol It was kinda funny, white people questioned me so much asking me if I was "rapping" (One teacher actually asked me why I felt the need to *air quote* rap everything I say in class, and that it wasn't funny in the least.)
