Screen goes black for a few seconds like the game is loading then, poof, gone, nothing happens. Yeah, but have to get the game to actually start up so I can patch it.
Edit: figured out i can just get newest game client straight from website, gonna do it that way. I guess my discs are just way to ancient! could always have a bit of fun and just run your game in a vm.

(Attempted to use one but it became a pain) In the D2VidTest, select this instead of the others.  If the 3dfx Glide option doesn't appear for you. That option doesn't show up on newer video cards for the game.
