Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

Oh my god, lunch off the boat for a change. Hopefully get out of this 500KWMG class before 4pm as well. Until now and for a few short minutes this morning, I've been at work for 29 hours with a privilege of 4 hours of sleep in the extra racks on the boat. Duty days suck ***. Yesterday I did not envy the senior guys from section 1 or 3. We had huge maintenance on a vital electrical system, and since they had the most experience they had to be around. That made the guys from section 1 stay at work for 39 hours straight. A man from section 3 had 6 hours off, but then he has duty today and worked all day yesterday, and he won't be able to go home till about 6pm tomorrow.

Maintenance periods in home port suck! It gets worse though, cause we're getting evaluated with drills soon, which compound on top of this nearly endless maintenance.

Pretty sure there are still bugs from well over a year ago that haven't been fixed. Something this big should probably be done in a week or so though.

Sometimes it just means those people care a lot about you but maybe they have a hard time knowing when to back off :/

I understand they care about me which is why I don't really complain about it normally but I don't enjoy being guilt tripped when I've done nothing wrong. :/ Bleh, I think I'm just being an *** today.
