Politics & Religion threads are demained on sight. I've heard they used to be demained by default like the Flame Core posts were when it was around, but I don't remember it that way. The reason for this is that there are many people who would rather not see "political crap" on a gaming forum, therefore if anyone goes in and sees it, they do so willingly and have very little reason to complain.

I'm assuming someone wants to ask "Why even have P&R then?" No? Well, there is a reason it is there and hasn't been removed, it is basically containment, if there wasn't a designated section for these discussions, they would leak into your regular discussions and then we are back at those people who'd rather not see "political crap" on a gaming forum.
