God DAMN it! The Humane Society is hiring. I had already discussed with my husband months ago about how if I didn't get a job by the time school starts, I'm going to volunteer there while I look because working with animals is something I'd enjoy. But I'm disqualified because they want someone who has professional experience with animals. For the love of all things evil and horrific! If NO ONE in this town will hire unless people have experience already, then no one is going to get any experience!
