looks like the video card fried, or is the whole thing not working?
That picture would be featuring the on board graphics rofl... Pretty suuure the gpu is dead yeah, and apparently perhaps everything else.

My family, my friends, most of my FB acquaintances, most of my coworkers, and most of my state are right politically. I'm left. So what. It's really not a big deal. At least, it shouldn't be.
I am active on Pinterest, it's just a site with a bunch of pictures and you have your own boards. You "pin" the pictures you like to your "boards." Whatever, yay.
I had a political board awhile ago. I posted my actual political and religious feelings on it. Many of my FB friends that were on Pinterest started treating me differently. My best friend stopped speaking to me altogether. I deleted the board, everyone started acting nice again, my bestie even sent me flowers for my birthday. First time we'd talked in months. I am a bit hesitant to let the relationship grow much again, so I have not called her since April and declined to go camping with her over the 4th of July. I want to be nice and be friends, but I see no reason to get my feelings hurt again.
Well, but all my political/religious feelings are still there. So I re-made the board, but I made it as a private board. I'm the only one who can see it. It's a fine compromise, I get to have my beliefs and they don't have to see them.
So why then does it feel like I'm just a big fat coward who backs down if someone opposes me? Why do I feel like my "compromise" is really just me not saying what I actually think and feel? Why do I feel like I am letting down every one who I support in political battles, such as the DOMA voting and the SP5 thing? Why does it feel less supportive of Wendy Davis if I cheer her on in a private board than a public one?

Sounds like some pretty shallow/shitty friends if they stop talking to you/don't like you anymore for just having a different view than them.
To hell with them I say if they are going to let something so petty influence your friendship.

friends who judge you and treat you based on your political affiliation ... well ... they're not really your friends...
at least that's how I feel... my friends know my political views... they may disagree on some of them... but they don't let it get in the way of our friendship.
Just my two cents on that subject lol.

I have a 560Ti that under load only gets to 60c?
Also yeah as drac said, turn the fan up~ I have that evga precision program that auto controls the fan for me, so it keeps my temps under control.

I made a curve for mine in MSI Afterburner and it works well :| At max on XIV it's at like 47-51 C or something

I wasn't paying attention to it
It didn't really occur to me considering until 14 I hadn't had a single game on max be able to really cause any problems. I just wasn't being aware of it and didn't even consider it. I should've had it monitored in the first place.

You can't make everyone approve of you, or expect them to embrace or even tolerate your world views and values. Just be true to who you are...if something is important enough to you that it would lead to intrapersonal conflict or even distancing between friends, that's just how it is unfortunately.
If the issue isn't so important, though, then of course it is easy to just ignore it among friends--if the friendship is more important. But if it is something you can't compromise on, then I'd suggest not doing so. :/
That being said, I am sure you might have felt the need at some point to distance yourself from people you thought you had a lot in common with but found out later had strongly different opinions with on core issues. It's not quite fair as it is just avoiding conflict, rather than discussing issues to come to a mutual understanding, but it is human nature I'd think...and not everyone is into heavy debating amongst friends.

I have XIV's sound on so the noise never bothers me because even at low volumes I won't hear anything with them on lol. Sadly I don't think they sell these anymore, very comfortable for my ears and they block out sound well >.> Budget headset but I like it, it's the Fatal1ty MKII
