This is why I won't do business with PJ anymore, even though I do enjoy the food. Personally, there are 3 places out here that have outstanding pizza beyond my own (see: Magnuss' Thanksgiving Pizza). There's Vincent's, which is as close to NY style as you can get out here. Then, if you want a 'za more like PJ's, Barro's is the way to go. They're local and their food is awesome. Third, there's Rosati's, which I guess has its roots in Chicago and has various locations in the states. Their pizza is different than most with a dough that can only be described as "crunchy doughy", and their cheese is better than most.

I kinda want one now, actually.

Oh yeah, Rosati's isn't a typical Chicago pizzeria. In fact, as I recall they don't really have a Chicago style pizza on their menu. Only a "stuffed" pizza, which isn't exactly the same thing. Also, I do enjoy their Italian Beefs.

The panzerottis are great also. It's a medium pizza dough, folded and stuffed with sauce, cheese and anything else you want. Then coated with garlic butter and parm cheese.
