And to be honest the number of dungeons pre-50 is irrelevant. Only need to know the number of late game dungeons. You don't get bored with a game for the most part until after you hit max level and you don't have quest to distract you. At that point that game becomes stagnant.
It's not like you only have one job to level to 50 though so you'll be spending quite a bit of time doing low and mid level content anyway

Oh I know I didnt get anywhere haha. I couldnt get over the overall look and feel. It felt like a dull looking WoW-Clone, spells took way too long to cast (4 seconds for basic fireball, really?), and the interface just hurt my eyes. I dunno, I think games like TERA have spoiled me.
Maybe I'll give it another shot and stick to it for a bit. -shrug-
Would probably help if I knew what the hell I was doing. I chose Mage (something I don't normally do) and picked the Elementalist path (???). The graphic style is one reason I never had any interest in WoW, looks too cartoony, furthermore, the community seems to be much more immature than any other MMO, from what I've seen. I don't want to play with children and man-children who cry and threaten each others lives over a pauldron or a belt.
I played APB and some guy threatened to kill me because he sucked too much at the game and couldn't kill me lol. He said he'd hack me and put child porn on my computer and call the cops >.> Oh and he said he'd hire a hitman to kill me lmao. All this because he died like 8 times
Sadly the community in the XIV beta is just as bad as any other community I've dealt with short of LoL.
Heres how I fix it.
Login.
Make new chat box.
Make it only have tell party and LS type channels.
Never go back to the basic chat ever....EVER.

wasn't there like... 5 dungeons open in this round of XIV? (but yeah as uri said, lowbie dungeons aren't really what matters... end game stuff is what's going to make or break it)

Right after the opening CS my friend found him xD
We saw about another 17 variations of it...
Best name from 1.0 was Abe Lincoln standing at the first crystal outside Limsa and saying in all chat, "Four score and seven lags ago I installed this game."
That guy is my hero.
