One of the reasons I'm really excited for Lightning Returns is the battle system looks much closer to what we saw in the reveal trailer for FF13 then what it turned into... I remember something about tensions rising over the amount of changes the dev team was forced to make.

The story definitely changed as a ton as well, in the scene where Snow and Fang rescue Lightning and Hope originally Fang and Hope weren't there. Snow was also using a gun if I remember right.

Your not alone no... I thoroughly enjoy the character because you have to look twice and do a little digging to see what she is actually about. Something I find rare in games both old and new where there character is just kinda there and you are given everything you need to know about them.

I really liked the style of her cape in the first game for whatever reason... then in the second I hated it because it blocked her boobs >.>

Not big on her outfit for LR though.
