Is it a deadbolt? Or just a normal door knob latch? If it's an angled latch it's quite easy to use something like a credit card (wouldn't suggest using a credit card or anything with a magnetic strip that has to be read as it could screw it up, but an ID or whatever will work the same) to open the latch... You want the angle to be very steep, put it against the latch and sort of wiggle it and work your way down.
A knife with a thin, non-serrated blade or anything similar will work fine too.. |
