Anyways, Tails was really good when he returned in Sonic 4: Episode 2, but out of all the classic/classic-like gameplay, I'm standing with Sonic 3 & Knuckles all the way. Always enjoyed Sonic & Tails co-op mode

No that existed, what you got was different depending on what sonic game you attached to it. If you attached sonic 1 you'd get like 100+ of the bonus levels to play.

Ahh yes! You're talking about the Sonic & Knuckles Cartridge which when combined with Sonic 2, you can play through all sonic 2 levels as knuckles, then when combined with sonic 1 is "Blue Sphere" where you do the special stages of sonic 3 and sonic and knuckles.

I also remember some funky 3d game where you saved birds.. man that was a trip. I was like.. idk 5. Most of the times my sisters would just give me a remote not plugged in and told me I was playing. ;;
