Yeah. They really need to pick one project at a time instead of trying to do 5 things at once.
It would appear they've finished doing the 08th MS Team memorial box, though, so that gives me something to download while I wait for SEED HD. :I
Strawberry Fields Forever" was intended for the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), as it was the first song recorded for it, but was instead released in February 1967 as a double A-side single with Paul McCartney's "Penny Lane".

No wonder I can't find it. It's off an EP sorta thingy and not an official album :<
Well I suppose I'll just toss that one into the "singles" folder.
The only thing about that movie that looks good,is that it has GlaDos' voice. But APPARENTLY thats only in the trailer, and not the full movie :<

Good news. I figured what that thing you just incinerated did. It was a morality core they installed after I flooded the Enrichment Center with a deadly neurotoxin, to make me stop flooding the Enrichment Center with a deadly neurotoxin. So get comfortable while I warm up the neurotoxin emitters.
So I have a question for Vita owners.
Does the vita use any particular proprietary discs or cartridges like the UMD? Or are all games purchased for it simply "downloaded"? I'm curious as to what is inside retail packages of vita games since there doesn't seem to be any sort of optical drive slot or anything of the like aside from its proprietary SD slot.

Uses both a proprietary memory card and game card. Alot of anger over the memory card in particular because they're slower and considerably more expensive than they should be. Especially when the game cards are designed to be written onto originally. Alot of games wont even boot up unless you have a memory card inserted too.
There are seperate slots for the memory card, game card, and sim card if using a 3G sim

Yeah, I am not happy with the direction Sony took with that. I get so many mixed signals with them when it comes to their devices. PS3 had the freedom of using local storage via laptop hard drives, while handhelds were forced with their own lame brand of overpriced storage.
The ideal move to make IMO would be to have it operate on the most prolific flash memory protocol and let all vita games be downloaded accordingly. In such a case as what they're doing now, it feels there is little to no purpose or practicality in physical copies, as much as I prefer them.
I didnt mind the pro duo for psp since flash memory was pretty new at the time,or even the UMD to an extent (other than being a fail optical media) but the vita memory card is offensive in both price/capacity and obligation

Aye, I kept thinking to myself: "Where's the 64/128 GB cards? What!? $80 for a 32 GB? GTFO."
As much as I love physical copies, I find them becoming less and less practical, especially in regards to handheld consoles. Yeah it is a bit fiendish to bottleneck users into a forced internet connected download, but I figure the compromise is if you let them use local storage in the format and size they prefer, once it is installed, there's no reason to be connected anymore unless one is using said services/features therein.
I cant even remember what I have in mine,I think its an 8 or 16gb. The 32/64 werent released here on release day,and when they did come out, nowhere stocked them because they're offensively expensive. Itwas 130 euro for a 64gb card............that just isnt *** right at all
So I can only imagine how tiny that'd feel on a device designed to archive relatively high capacity/HD games.
The games are not HD. Look into it,you'll find that other than blind fanboys,it isnt HD. qHD is below the HD standard. Sony wont refer to it as a HD platform because they know its false advertizing and wont get sued. There are only 2 instances of "HD" being in vita game titles. One of which has a legit reason, the other was changed shortly after release

Despite having a "hardware check" feature requiring a memory card to operate the game card, how many games would you say operate independently on the game card as opposed to partial card install?

There is a list of them out there,I think there are 6 games last I checked that worked without a memory card
Edit: Its not even a partial install, thats the even more ghetto thing. It installs a tiny (usually less than 1mb) base data, thats it
My mistake. 960 x 544 is indeed not HD. But nevertheless, I can imagine that vita games are a bit higher in capacity than their predecessors, which ironically enabled significantly larger and cheaper storage options than what is available for the vita.
eh i have alot of psp and ps1 games on mine <they need to make FFV vita compatable.. every other one is ._.> they need to have a 3rd pt make a 260g or something, vita game wise are way to *** big for a small card
Is there a function or feature to do a full game card/disc install to the memory card? Would much prefer to have my games present within the device than to carry around multiple game cards depending on my mood or preferences.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
