I can see there being pollution like that in other areas that aren't maintained by the state, but where my family and friends always fish, it's legit. Aye most seafood has a decent portion of mercury in it, stuff like shark and tilefish being among the worst. Pregnant woman are advised to stay far away from a LOT of it. Good news for me is that shrimp are juuust fiiine. Tuna has a small amount, but enough that you really have to limit your intake of it, which is shitty because it's an uh-mazing source for omega-3s and stuff for the babies and uber tasty.

Is still a dive,but no its more than a pizza place lol.The pizza places here dont even try to be italian at all. How does one try and be American? I'm entirely too interested in that.
Only good asian food store places that I know of are all like 1+ hour away :(

The grocery store chain we use has an Asian section but it's barely more than ramen noodles, soy sauce and cans of water chestnuts. It's seriously pathetic.
