Yeah, sounds like she's probably interested at some level. Do like Uri said, and try asking her out on a non-date one-on-one situation, unless you're comfortable going straight for the dating scenario.
If you've talked a lot, just pick something you know you've both got an interest in.

Try something where you can talk Mag, those are always great for first date/getting to know someone. Movies are bad because you're literally sitting and not talking.

Also, Mag, I wouldn't let something like not having your own place keep you from dating a girl if you're interested. You're in college, so it's not like they should expect you to have an awesome place of your own, etc.
They also shouldn't expect you to start throwing money at them just because you've started getting to know each other, either. Actually, dating them while you have a minimal amount of stuff like that is a good way to find out how interested they are in you and not what you can do for them.

I'm the same way Mag. I've realized that there's nothing wrong with it. I'm honest and I prefer honesty, so don't beat around the bush if you're trying to communicate something to me.
