Since i got to hunter rank 5, maxed out my Rathalos S armor as best i can with what i have access too, and gotten several high end weapons for my rank, the solo missions have been a breeze. Then i got to hunter rank 9. Holy hell that ***is hard. Me vs a very pissed off Brachydios with both my minions dead, not happy fun time. Still, i am happy to say that 6, 7, 8, and 9 star solo quests have yet to kill me even once. I been using Long Swords this whole time and refuse to use any other. I know it makes it harder on myself overall but i don't care.
