Actually... there might be a patch to download... or maybe they haven't added it yet. Supposed to be adding more parts to use because feedback so far has been pretty vocal about the small selection available to test with. :x

It's comforting knowing there's a lot of attention and consideration for it, but you have to take it at face value to avoid disappointment. Or in this case: being fooled.

it no longer charges or holds a charge? if it doesn't charge, take out the battery and keep it plugged in and see if it still turns on. If it doesn't then the charger needs to be replaced.. if it does then yeah, a new battery would probably fix it.

How long have you had it? Generally when it comes to laptops, batteries are the first thing to go and need replacing for that very reason. However, it is very possible to have a shitty/broken cord or brick delivering power to it too.
