Naw, it is just I like reading how people can not function in the game with our their spellcasts and add ons. Steroids make you better at sports, com'on kid everyone is doing it...You want to make that all start team don't ya.

I'd rather be on a server with a cool name like a dragon rather than a big whale. And I might just come back to the game eventually. Just right now, it's nice. If there's one thing I hate about updates, it's the congestion in doing the things necessary to begin quests. When those small add-ons like Moogle Kupo de'Tat came out, I spent like 3 hours looking for mobs to kill in Jugner Forest because it was filled with morons killing the same mobs I was. Sooooooo annoying. I'd much rather jump in a few months later when the congestion has trickled down to practically nothing.

Actually, yeah. When it comes to camaraderie, that was one of the motivators for playing online for me. I started off playing CoD4 with my friends and we would do some dumb things. "Stack yo' papah, cuh!" From there, a few of us jumped into FFXI, and after a little while we had a tight nit group of friends. That's why I played the game without caring about getting any gear. It was more fun doing things with friends like watching my friend raising while the rest of us are attempting a control-wipe because, "Madness and Cherm, I'm sorry! My dog hit the enter key!" (he was from Puerto Rico, and Madness was how he pronounced Magnus) or "Batant... wtf are you doing? Why are you grabbing all the mobs at the Jeuno auction house?!" Batant: "Zzzzzzzzzzz...". That to me was infinitely more fun. That's also why when you and Drok and Dread and Vyre and I would go do stuff, I'd *** around and say stupid stuff.

Annnnnnnnnnnd I just found an umbral marrow for 1.8M in a bazaar... YOINK! Followed by a ton of tells from the JP seller.... they meant to sell for 18M (when they honestly are down to 10M on Odin now). Sorry for your loss seller. You *** up, not me! 1/5 marrows! Just saved myself 7.2M :D
