If i go out i like to have things on me that are great conversation starters. For example i will wear my cruise jacket if it is cold enough. A cruise jacket is like a high school football players varsity jacket, just with military patches on it instead of high school stuff and more expensive. Or i can wear my deployment ring or service ring. I can also take my challenge coins.

Then again, i don't go to bars that much because i live by strict values and rules. If i go out to drink, i will NOT drive so i wont take my own vehicle. Normally a taxi or a friend who is a DD and i can trust. If i go to a friends house and i do take my truck, i will stay there that night. I also drink in moderation so i do not embarrass myself or do something wrong.

I feel so old school and outdated half the damn time with my self imposed rules and honor code, then again i draw most of my values and what not from the military.
