A friend of mine was asking what we still need for the baby. She was asking about the big stuff, stroller, car seat etc and I remembered we still had the car seat we bought 4 years ago that was never used. I knew they weren't good for use after an accident, but I didn't realize they actually have an expiration date. I googled some stuff and found a site that lists reasons why they expire, and at the bottom of the forum is "top related searches"...

hairline fractures, car seat expiration date, national highway traffic and safety administration, tuna sandwich, national highway traffic

Sorry, what? lol

It's a problem with the contact point underneath the button. Mine was doing it until I took the mouse completely apart and cleaned it, updated both the drivers and firmware for the mouse, and turned the doubleclick speed up to the 2nd highest notch in the deathadder software (not windows one).

I'm not sure which part actually fixed it because I did all of the above together.

if it's a razer then it's the incredibly poor build quality. have to either take apart the mouse and clean the little plastic nub under the clicker, or in more extreme cases where the actual contact point has worn away completely you have to fill the small hole (you'll see it, it's easily apparent) with a small drop of wax or superglue. can also stick a piece of paper between the contact point and clicker, but that's a temporary solution only.

Okay I know I'm prolly gonna get ***over this from someone but I don't care.

Tomorrow Obie is having emergency surgery to remove most of the mass he has. It rests against his aorta and vena cava so it's REALLY risky to try it and there's a decent chance he won't even make it through. If he does, there's no guarantee that surgery will work as they have to leave part of the mass behind. It's in his pelvis and the only way to get it is to break his pelvis and they won't do that. So, positive thoughts, prayers, voodoo, whatever it is that you do, I'm asking for all of it. He is way more than a dog to us and we need him. Putting him down is a last resort because he deserves every chance we can give him.

Ah, that makes more sense. Well, no judgement here. Just because I'm an atheist doesn't mean I won't respect other people's religions, etc.

Don't like the menu on the side and the static picture you have beside it. When you click on other pages, it doesn't even look like you're navigating through a website.

My best advice for those who want to create a website is to expect the people who visit your site to be stupid and lazy as ***. They don't want to have to try hard to find something and they don't want it to take a long time. It's so easy to get distracted.

I think it looks neat. The only thing for me is the paragraph that says "At NRV Computer Services we have the experience and the knowledge to help you with the smallest and the largest problems . More importantly, we serve people . We believe in forging a strong relationship with the community and providing quality service at reasonable prices." has a couple sentences where the period got double spaced and it's making me twitch.

Also could use more boobs.

actually it's recommended to have a static menu that doesn't change from page to page, the picture however is optional, if it were the company logo it would be better imo.

I'm actually going through the trouble of creating a mock website right now for a company, and having severe writers block again. Project is just going to be late, that's all there is.

What do you suggest for the menu then? I pretty much made it simple to navigate with all the information about each service located on the menu.

@Jet, we are working on the business logo atm it will require a few changes to fit into the website design though.

Oh and imo there's too much "white space" on the sides, and all your information is centered, requiring people to scroll down, probably benefit from less white space and maybe moving your menu up some, and perhaps your logo to be in place of that picture, or on the side somehow (probably not vertical). oh and the text size could stand to be bigger, I have 20/20 vision and I'm having issues reading it (then again I'm like 4 feet away from my monitor) but I don't have issues reading the text on this site, might also have to do with the color contrast.

and I just noticed the double links for home and "contact us" could probably make the other menu a tad larger and consolidate, people may get confused and just call the "homepage" "home"

granted I'm not an artist, catnip would be the better person to ask on crap like that. I just spend all day on the computer and know that I like to keep it simple, uniform, and easy to read/navigate. When I have to ctrl+0 or scroll I get annoyed, I can't imagine what typical users feel...

On a side note, if the site gets expansive and you offer services through the site you may consider a well made search feature on the site, so people don't have to dig for what they want. Just a consideration.

edit: maybe make that other menu horizontal as well, and put it on the top-right (like right above where that picture is now). obviously align it based on how many items are on it etc.

oh and the ordered list for the services is pretty small, tad bit tacky with the ordered, maybe try unordered.

again, take what I say with a grain of salt, I can barely get a site to function lol...

I just meant the picture, Jetackuu. I think a standard menu across the top is still best. Or even just take the picture down from the following pages if you like it on the side there. It's too big and takes away from whatever information you have on said pages. The "Home" and "Contact us" in the top right seem a bit redundant.

There are a bunch of little things that may just be temporary.

P.S. May want to be careful with what sort if information you leave lying around here. Your phone number adn what not

Also, there's a reason for the white space on the sides. There are so many different sized screens out, it gives the developer control over what we see if he makes it thinner

Yea I was thinking that there was too much empty space to the sides as well I'll have to align it more and make it to where it won't require much scrolling, the text is a bit of an issue but I don't sit as far away from the monitor as many people would.

@spency thanks lol and thats the company phone number :p
