Nvidia or amd? which has less compatibility problems? what else should be be concerned with when looking this stuff up? :<

I'd put the most cost:performance efficient card on the market down as the 660ti at the moment tbh.

SO MUCH THIS FEEL! they've gone too far down the "major updates for one game that aren't really that amazing" path as of late instead of sweeping adjustments and bug fixes imo. granted it's not just their fault, the developers need to do their part too. would have likes some driver optimization for gw2 which never got any sort of major performance boost. there's no reason my rig should stutter at any time in that game.

And to add on to what you said about the 660ti, if that seems harsh I say look at the 7850. for $220 it's pretty powerful little card.
