Well, it was in the same universe, because weren't those giant dudes breeding the aliens as a biological weapon?
Yeah the aliens were a bio weapon, If i remember correctly they wanted to use it against humans because they thought of them as a mistake or something. but they decided not to. and so they encased that black syrup goop stuff in storage and then the giants themselves (or at least that small group of them) put themselves in cryo sleep to "watch" over it, but those damn scientists had to release the damn things
more or less that~

Smaller lesser known companies take risks, some do well and become known while most fall. Demon's Souls for instance was a risk from their previous titles, Dark Souls not so much because they knew that there would be people who would buy it on xbox. Now they want to grow, so they are making Dark Souls II more accessible and approachable to new players. This has already made fans of the series lose trust in From Software, even though it's a year from release still. I get where quiz is coming from, money ruins what games could have been, and at the same time it funds the games development and future games to come. I'd love for companies to focus on making good games, but they are companies and need to fight to survive and that might end up pushing away some of the fans that were loyal to you in hopes that you earn 2-3 people for every person you lost. Which game is better? The one that 10 people think it's amazing or the one that 100 people think it's amazing?
Gaming, like anything else, comes down to your own opinion on it...

Thats pretty much it. When these companies recycle ***and expect me to pay 45-60 euro for a game thats either 80%+ exactly the same,or just completely shite I get mad. I was discussing this the other day with a friend of mine while we were eating, and we came up with the "luck" theory. For example,Visceral Games,a basically unknown studio released Dead Space,it got really popular really fast. EA execs took over and applied their usual formula.Dead Space 2 was a stepping stone away from survival horror and more towards run and gun.Dead Space 3 is basically an all out action game. All of this done to reach a "bigger audience" yet it has ruined the game/series we originally liked.Same thing happened with Bioware and Mass Effect. ME1 was amazing. EA bought them, applied their usual.ME3 was basically a full on 3rd person shooter.Near the start of ME3,when climbing out of the citadel or where,I actually thought to myself "wow is this just trying to be dead space action now?"

page claimed! I have no idea how the Aliens fit into the whole thing at all :/ I think they were what killed the makers off, but idk. Somehow they all died there..
Just so many questions
They actually find a planet where our 'makers' used to live, but they died, so appearently the whole mission is a *** failor now. Why is the whole crew so *** HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE? Biology dude is scared of ancient dead bodies, but goes to fondle some deadly looking snake creature? Map guy gets lost. Captain rather goes to *** a lady than care for his crew members. Lady cuts a thing out of her womb (lol) and nobody questions her when she gets back to the other people. Muh i just don't now =.= and why was the maker thingy so *** angry

I feel cool for posting in spoilers. It's like a secret code.

I think it came down to that the bio weapon was too aggressive/dangerous and it was probably in the best interest of everything that no one should ever use it or release it. So i think that's why the giant was trying to kill everyone off.
Thinking back on it~ i'm pretty sure the weapon got loose, that's why there was some of that ancient footage that the scientist were looking at in the caves.
hmmm lemme find a link that explains it in much more detail

I thought Dead Space 2 was scary as hell, but it wasn't a run and gun game for me because I suck at FPS games, so I guess that's why it was actually scary for me.

Who doesn't like a good ole underdog story? The inmates banding together to take on ze Aliens.
Not to mention whatsherfaces noble sacrifice in the end
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
