I tend to recover quickly from surgery and the like so hopefully near the start of the spectrum. Could take up to a month if it goes poorly though ._. First time I've been on FFXI for...6 months (and back then I was only on for 2 days before I quit again).

From everything I have read/seen it looks kinda like a mix between RNG and BRD, that about right? the bow looks sweet in 14 ._. at least the one I saw in the dev video.
Makes me want to play RNG there... No idea about 14. Haven't seen much of it other than the pretty characters models.
