Pretty sure it was Lucifer, but we all know who he was.

What is everyone up to? XP Anything fun?
I just spent all day teaching Shakespeare to high school kids. So yeah, my day was awesome. Hows about yours, sir?
Sounds pretty awesome to me. :O I hope they appreciated the awesomeness that is Shakespeare, I know a lot of kids in my class didn't. >.<

Mine's alright, still waiting for a phone call and trying not to buy stuff that I know I shouldn't be wasting money on. XP

Well, that also means he fits into the hero's archetype, but that doesn't necessarily mean he acts like a contemporary hero. Take in mind book 2 during the assembly. He was forming a mock democracy, but in no way did he actually want it to be a full blown democracy. That's not something a "hero" would do by today's standards.
OHO!
But good sir, in classical literature the ideal of a hero did not come with the social constraints that we now expect. If that were the case a man such as Gilgamesh could never be considered a hero. Way to lazy to paraphrase but, "The Hero is our protagonist, or central character, whose primary purpose is to separate from the ordinary
World and sacrifice himself for the service of the Journey at hand-to answer the challenge, complete the quest and restore the Ordinary World’s balance". In short the hero only has to be beyond that of the normal man and must sacrifice himself. All of which Satan does through out his quest and without said quest man kind would still not have the intelligence to be discussing this now, according to Milton.
...
In terms of LoL you got baited!
I was totally prepared for that comeback!

His angelic name was Lucifer, but Milton refers to him and the other fallen by their demonic names in order to encompass the evil deeds often associated with the fallen that were accredited to them by man alone.

Don't you start that with me! I don't clothes shop often and most cosplay I would buy would double as normal clothes for me. You have no idea how tempting it is to buy some things.

Was I baited, or were you? Maybe I was anticipating that response the whole time. Bwuah ha ha! But yeah, we're talking about two different heroes. My issue is that one person might misinterpret what you're saying, so in the classical literature sense, Satan is a hero. Just like Romantic literature is about melancholy and death.

Then they need to take a real Lit class and stop reading Twilight/50 Shades of Grey.

Only invested like $220 in this though. Not a bad deal IMO.
