I NEED UPDATES SPATH, HOW MUCH HAVE YOU DIED? D;
Well I died a lot more after I stopped updating. Mainly because I went down to Darkroot Garden I think waaaay earlier than I was supposed to.
Adventuring is part of the experience, even if that means going into areas you aren't meant to explore yet. However, the garden is an area many players explore before/after killing the Gargoyles, so you're okay.
Killed the Moonlight Butterfly or whatever it's called in one try. Then farmed a bunch of souls next to the door that leads into the area of the hunters or whatever they're called. Got my *** up to like level 30/40 or whatever leveling str/endurance so I could wield my Ultra Greatsword and so I could dodge/swing more.
It's a great leveling spot, and remember that your level doesn't really influence the difficulty of the game all that much, but instead the weapon you're using and how much you've upgraded it.
I personally would recommend to hold off on maxing it out so you don't breeze through the game. That's just me though :<
Ended up doing about 20 round with Sif before I figured out he was way easier if I didn't try to pull him towards the fog gate and instead hugged his front foot like a *** hippie hugging a tree. Killed him, finally.
Nice :) In your next playthrough try waiting a bit, complete DLC first before you fight Sif. Just a small hint for an easter egg.
Went down towards the hydra then ran the *** away because I realized just... no.
HAHAHAHAHA yea it's intimidating at first but really easy when you try it.
Killed some huge guy at the bottom of a tower that tried to murder me from the side when I walked through a door. Got an awesome ring off him,
Haval, and that ring is amazing indeed.
then went down to the Depths, realizing I shouldn't have even been near Sif when I 3 shotted the Capra Demon with my sword
Yea :< that's the downside of making yourself powerful in the game. I'll always recommend to people to stay weak for awhile so you can gain the full effect of what they wanted you to experience the first time you played. I'll tell you right now though, no matter how good you get at the game Capra Demon can be a *** and catch you.
and then did 2 tries on the Gaping Dragon before I killed him.
He's pretty easy once you figure out how he attacks.
Went to Blighttown, wasn't all that bad until I beat the boss (which only took me two tries, and only because I didn't know it was a fire boss and therefore didn't use the Flash Sweat pyromancy)
She was one of my first road blocks as well, the weapon you use makes a huge difference, but also paying attention to how she moves is just as important. Once I learned that I should always look for opportunity before rushing in it made the game easier for me.
took me about 20 deaths to get back out of the town because my main weapon was nearly broken and I wasn't sure what happened if you broke weapons and I was scared so I switched to a weaker weapon and couldn't get anywhere + I kept falling as I was trying to go up towards Drake Valley.
Your weapon won't go away, the damage output is just reduced. For armor the defense.
Going from a strong weapon to a weak is actually a great way to improve your plays tyle. With a stronger weapon you can take far more risks because you can end the battle sooner, but when you have to have endurance to survive then the flaws in your play style start to come out.
Found a shortcut down to New Londo and then a shortcut back to Firelink. Found the guy that you "sell" items to... omg he makes weird noises. D: and I think that's where I had to basically stop.
He is very....scary and random >.>;
