My dog loved snow, she would skip and hop through it and dig her nose into it looking for a ball she may have left outside ._.

I'd make lil snowballs and throw them near her when she had her head down in the snow looking for one, then she'd look up trying to figure out where the sound came from then pounce on the spot the snowball made in the snow and look for it.

this is far too much snow for that though.

Hah! I didn't actually expect an answer. I just figured I'd post that picture as a joke. :)

If the baby can't walk, it's probably no more than a year old. My son was walking by his first Christmas, at 11 months.

I would expect a name like Shyra to be a girl's name, yeah. It sounds a lot like She-Ra!

I'm aggravated and upset right now. (Liela's response to my post helped, though.) I don't get to talk to my son on Skype much lately, because I work until 5 most days, and he has trouble wanting to pay attention in the evening due to being worn out from his day.

Got on Skype with him a few minutes ago because I had planned it with his mom ahead of time. Get on... They have company, her friend and her two kids, plus my son's mom's other baby is obviously there. All sorts of noise from that. Plus she had set the iPad down on the floor right in front of the tv. With the tv turned on, and loud. So I could barely hear anything, and he, being a kid, wanted to pay attention to it instead.

I very nearly started to cry right there, but managed to just ask her to let me talk to him later on when it was quieter.

Honestly, part of the reason I like travelling so much is that it makes me a more interesting person. Go out and try new things. It will give you more to talk about.

Travel is very intriguing when it comes to people (male or female). Who doesn't love a good anecdote?!?

:-( I'm sorry to hear this. It sounds like she might be doing something that my parents did when they divorced, kind of fighting over the kids but passive-aggressively. Trying to make one parent think the kids loved the other parent more or were happier with the other one, stuff like that. It's rough on the kids, and I wish there was a way to see that she's hurting her son more than she's hurting you.

As a kid, it really sucks to be used as a pawn or a tool to hurt either of your parents. Maybe that's not what's going on, maybe she's just clueless about how much you desire to have contact with your little boy. Either way, I'm glad you are not with her anymore. You are a nice man, and you deserve a nice woman.

He makes sweet sounds and is lovely!!! :) It was awesome outside yesterday, so the three of us took a stroll at the park. Thinking about going today too, or maybe just a stroll around the neighborhood after I go grocery shopping.

It's okay <3 I think I'm okay now about it, I miss her a lot but it's not bothering me nearly as much as it was before. My sleeping has returned to normal thankfully, doesn't keep me up hours trying to sleep anymore.

I'll be looking into getting a new dog, possibly late winter early spring, but I'm not rushing so it might be summer or w/e. I need to think about it, a lot to think about until I get to that point.

Get a different breed/gender. You don't want to compare the two.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if she's clueless to the way she's doing things. She's never really been the brightest person. (Not even being mean... She admits it regularly.) For the most part, we've gotten over our issues with each other, and we never tried to use our son against each other.

Mostly, it just irritated me because of all the noise, specifically the tv. Because I had sent her all sorts of information regarding autism and how background noise is commonly more difficult for autistic people of all ages to tune out. Which shows, because he would hardly pay attention to me, but when it's quiet, he'll at least sit and answer my questions, even if he's still not able to have a conversation with me yet.

I did at least get a kiss on the screen after I told him "I miss you"... So that helped. Though I still had another sad after about ten minutes, when he just randomly waved and told me goodbye. "Good die", as he says it.

Also, based on Kallia's prevalent personality within her posts and the mental image I have of her, I think a Samoyed would make for a wonderful doggy companion. But that's just something my mind conjured up.

Want to move to New Zealand? Yes! Am ever going to move to New Zealand? Nope. ;;

All places have that one awful animal that just creeps people the heck out. Australia has like 15 of them! Here we have hobo spiders. Most spiders run away from you if you try to squish it and miss, but not hobos, oh no. They will run towards you and get aggressive. Gah!

And I grew up in New Mexico. My stepmother's kindergarten classroom was a trailer on the school grounds, and since it was shaded underneath, more than one time she found a mother rattlesnake and a nest of baby rattlesnakes underneath the trailer, within feet of where the kids played on the playground. My English class in 9th grade had a scorpion run into the classroom during class. And we had tarantulas come up onto our deck to get in the shade. Spiders? Bad. HUGE arse hairy spiders that stand on their hind legs and hiss at you and shoot hairs at your eyes? VERY VERY BAD.

Dang nature, you scary. ;;
