My mom's friend taught her to text. That was a bad day... Dad texts when he has something funny he took a picture of that he has to share and has FB but he's never on it. Mom hasn't made it that far, I guess lol I'm sure skype will get old fast for me lol, I'll prolly make it like once a week or something.

Mom shortens baby to "bb" its cute, but I don't have the heart to tell her BB don't mean baby. Sigh ; ; But texting is cool cuz I get pictures of my nieces she babysits ALL the time ^^

Leils, don't feel bad, my brother left me in a dryer once when I was 4. Dunno how that fits the situation...but /shrug

I kinda hate skype because when my sister calls me I'm forced to listen to her kid talk and it's *** annoying because she can't really say a correct sentence yet lol

Yeah when Mom gets skype, I know all I'm gonna hear for 3/4 of the convo is her yelling at her 4 dogs like telling them to do something is gonna work for the first time in their lives. It's gonna be sweet.

I had to teach my dad how to text when he got his very first cellphone <.< o god was that horrible. Also fat fingers and bad eyesight didn't really help. He usually only sends one liners cause it takes him so long..

My parents have had cell phones for 15+ years...they just now learned texting 2 years ago. A year ago when my dad got an iphone 4s he finally started texting often...cause siri types them...

I text everyone because talking on the phone makes me aggravated. For instance- Mom yelling at the dogs, Mom going pee on the phone, Dad hitting his bowl too hard and coughing in my ear for 5 minutes, the dogs barking... all of those things make me rage. My best friend just baby talks to her kid the whole time, my sister... well you know about her, my brother works 12 hours days with one day off a month so he falls asleep almost as soon as he picks the phone up lol. Texting means I can just ignore them when I'm done being social.

I liked the iphone when it corrected every mistake..now my note 2 just predicts my next word...I like that even better!
