I've only had one xbox break on me. Got it ~3 months after it came out in the US, so it was one of the first models and lasted me until my senior year of high school when one of my friends left the system on for like 36hrs straight in small a enclosed cupboard I had moved it to for a night. >.>;
Either way, that thing lasted me ~5 years, never had any problems with it before that point I still don't understand how some people went through them so fast. I used to play that thing hardcore too so it's not like it was casual gaming that saved it or anything, there were constant 12-24 hr stints played on that thing. I've never had a broken PS3 or 360...

cant transfer my data tho old ps3 wont turn on now :( so gotta start Dark Souls over Can smell my chicken grilling....making me even more hungry!

Loving Ni No Kuni! Played it for a while last night :P. Diggin the story, and the comedy aspects thrown in.

I would be poking that PS3 for 10 minutes hoping it would turn on. So you ended up getting a new PS3? Any special package? When I was picking out a few games, I still said no to Dark Souls, it sounds like a game that would frustrate me to no end.
