wow, some of you must be horrible linkshell leaders. i'm sure you cant have been serious when you say that you'll ban them from lotting and such.. the persons been kind enough to take the time out from doing whatever to hold the ls coins and accidently mislots and you wanna ban him from lotting and such? nice. if you didnt want the mistake to happen, you should do it yourself.
This was sort of what I was thinking, just this post was more blunt.
Seems to me that taking away his lotting rights for a couple of runs just isn't really fair. He doesn't have to lot your coins, and in doing so, he's doing the rest of your sackholders a favour. It gives them one less thing to worry about during runs. As a Dynamis leader myself, I can almost certainly say how helpful it is that I have one of my sackholders lotting coins. It gives me more oppurtunity to focus on pulling, calling, or whatever I'm doing that run.
I won't make any comments about the intentions behind the so-called ninja lot, but if it is accidental as your manner implies, I don't see the need to take any action. I know if one of my sacks accidentally lot a drop because currency was spamming through the pool, I wouldn't be too harsh on them. Mistakes happen after all and they are foremost performing myself and my shell a favour.
The real question is whether you actually trust your sack or believe your own mind that the ninja lot was unintentional, at least from my point of view. I might be dramatising the whole situation, but posting on public forums implies, at least to me, you're not sure if there were motives or intentions behind the ninja lot. As I said, though, I might be looking at this too much.
The sack is only in this situation in the first place because he's performing a favour for your shell. Standard pearls can't be in this position because they're not lotting currency for you. This is certainly one thing to remember when making a fair decision.
Because if a pearl ninja lotted, they'd be kicked right away, no?
I look at it this way. I've had the same sackholder lotting coins now for the past year and a half nearly. He's never once lotted somebody else's drop. He's passed the occasional coin by mistake but that's about it. It'd be pretty blatent to me that any ninja lotting was entirely unintentional. The fact he is my brother helps, as does the fact I can punch him in the face if he does ninja lot; but the hard work he has put into always ensuring the treasure pool is lotted should not be so quickly forgotten due to one innocent mistake.
Edit: I just noticed you never actually said if you're the leader or not. If you are, then my post still applies. If not, do you think it was intentional or not?
