So do any of you have any magical moments from your time playing Final Fantasy that stick in your mind like a happy childhood memory?
I thought of this when somebody brought up FF9 and the first thing that sprang to mind was the cutscene around the campfire outside the petrified forest. The isolated sound of the campfire gently crackling is a moment I remember fondly, so peaceful!

In ffxi when I got my Assassins Armlets. Since I joined I never use points and one thf who was always there had one more point that I did, but he couldn't make that run and I got them. :D
FFX, the first time I got to Zanarkand. The final* push. The last* fight. I actually looked back oneverything I did in-game up to that point.
*Then it turned out there was more. *** yea!

In XI the first job I leveled was whm, and I just couldn't get it through my head that I wasn't some super bad *** that could kill w/e I wanted to kill.
One day, on a chocobo cruise through Jugner, I see Fraelissa and I'm like OMG NM, YOU DIE NOW. I was lvl 25-26 at the time and my bf told me there was no way I could kill it, but I wanted to show him I was able to take care of myself. So, I hop off the chicken, make sure I got rr and head in. ...didn't go so well. I get up, try to kill it again and fail again. I tried killing it like every 2-3 levels I got and it never panned out so well. One of my fondest memories is seeing that stupid tree a year later and *** its world up. Suck it, stupid tree... suck it.

Watching the video again, I still don't understand how he walks into like 3 feet of water, lets her go, and she sinks 50 feet to the bottom.

Actually, a better example is that there are spots in the ocean where you can walk and then suddenly, the floor drops like 200 feet. Fairy.Spence said: I love you, Nobuo. The FF8 Deling City Parade with Edea at the end of Disc 1. It was around 3 a.m., i was totally excited and i skipped school the next day.

So *** awesome <3 I loved that scene but I hated it just as much because my disc kept freezing at that cutscene and I had to get a new copy lol. When i played FF 8 i played it straight for ... dunno... 4 days? Til i was done. Skipped school the whole time, barely slept and ate and even lost like 3kg XD i was totally addicted.

It didn't happen all that long ago really, but when me and some other people from FFXIAH went exploring the world in FFXIV during Open Beta.. Was almost kind of magical.. Wish FFXIV was still that magical for me <_<
