Taco Bell isn't going anywhere. If this lawsuit is successful, the WORST things that could happen are:

• Taco Bell improves the quality of its "seasoned beef" taco mixture
  

• Taco Bell changes their advertising/marketing slightly
  

• Taco Bell takes a minor "black eye" in publicity
  

Your f*ckin' tacos, chalupas, burritos, and quesadillas will still be there. Calm down, and try reading, instead of over-reacting.

apparently neither of you lived in a college town where the local Taco bell was staffed by college students who were just there to fill space. The service was slow, the ignorance was ever present, and the fact that most of these assmites didn't give a ***about service just made me wanna punch them in the face.

Then the other Taco Bell down the road was staffed by majority ghetto black folk complete with gold grill, ATL slang, visible tattoos of baby names/teardrops/gang signs just made me laugh every time I walk in.

They can afford a gold grill on Taco Bell payroll?

I tried to look up the ingredients for Del Tacos' tacos also, but i couldn't find the ingredient list. It's probably more of the same, but who knows for sure.

Anyway, I highly doubt that anyone here works for the FDA or USDA and knows exactly what their intent is behind "ground beef". How do you all make your ground beef at home? I know we tend to add a little water to help brown it up, then seasonings galore. I still consider that ground beef, it's just the cooking process.

Perhaps the thing TB should learn from this is to just change their "seasoned ground beef" to "beef taco filling".

Quite frankly unless I saw the parameters of this study I find it very hard to be valid, and quite frankly the plaintiffs in this are just waiting for a counter sue, and it will happen.

lets say, for the sake of argument, that no one went up against Taco Bell for having only 35% beef and 65% additives.

What would stop Taco Bell from just taking cow ***from out back and calling it "beef", would anyone go up against them if word got out?

I know people will still eat Taco Bell. Hell, I still eat steak even though I've seen how it's made.

You've made it clear that you think beef = beef, regardless of what is mixed in with the beef, and regardless of what proportion of the resultant mixture is beef. While that may be true in your house or in mine, it's irrelevant to this legal proceeding.

What you're being told is that the Taco Bell meat mixture does not conform with the USDA's definition for beef.
Thus, the lawsuit contends that Taco Bell should not be allowed to advertise/market their product as beef.

It's as simple as that. Do you still not understand?
